Life in Porto is in full swing. Especially at night and in particular in the hospitality market. I was recently challenged to develop a new gastrobar concept, soon to open in downtown Porto.
The concept is simple, and develops around a gastronomic and musical package. Mixing pop art with redesigned traditional Portuguese cuisine. This translates into a story about a feast of flavors and aromas that continue into the night until the urge to eat and drink dissipates. While you're at it, you can dance to indie, folk and rock music.
From there, I developed the entire visual language of communication, in addition to the interior design. In parallel, I collaborated in defining events to be held, and it will certainly be a brand that will make a difference in the city. It will open in March, in one of the main arteries of the city. The space has a restaurant room, indoor terrace and a small dance floor that will also be used for live concerts.
Porto is the place to be.
Porto was elected Best City Destination in Europe 2022, during the 29th edition of the World Travel Awards (WTA), a ceremony held this saturday (01/10) in Palma de Mallorca (Spain). The award, which once again places the city in the elite of the best European destinations.
In this category, Porto competed alongside cities such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Geneva, Lisbon, London, Lyon, Rome, Venice and Vienna.
